Animaze Montreal International Animation Film Festival
Filmmakers and producers converge at ANIMAZE Montreal annually to engage and present their works. Emerging and established esteemed panelists and speakers and guest speakers present their ideas in the fields from animation, AI presenting some of the most challenging issues in the industry today. Masterclasses are presented by leaders and visionaries from all genres and film specialities including VFX to augmented and 360 virtual reality. International countries are participating and are well represented from First Nations, LGBT, established and emerging content creators from all communities. Animaze facilitates interdisciplinary creative partnerships across industries and sectors. Animaze produces free pop up events partnering with various outdoor streets including famous boulevard Saint Laurent street sale and Saint Jax/Le Monastére on sainte Catherine in Montreal’s Golden Mile. Animaze and are the founders of Animation Day in Cannes presenting market screenings and programming held annually in May at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

Our international events include Animation Day in Cannes since 2015, Animation Day in Glasgow since 2018. Animaze also curates for various international communities including les Francophonies. Animaze brings together professionals from all over the world for inspired networking opportunities working closely with animation studios, gaming studios, VFX creators, technology companies and film producers.. Past speakers include Oscar winners, Disney alum Mike Wiesmeier and British-Canadian director 3 times Academy Award nominee Gerald Potterton.
